Spiritual activism is a for-profit, however, we work with non-profit organizations to write grants and offer programs to those who cannot financially afford to do programs and retreats. If you’re interested in helping those who cannot financially afford to access contemplative tools, please consider making a donation. You’re donation can be tax deductible through the non-profit organizations that we work with.
We are currently collecting donations for the following projects:
1- Restored Hope is a non-profit that works with with women and children experiencing trauma through offering contemplative practices. Spiritual Activism will work closely with Restored Hope to continue offering programs on the south and west sides of Chicago.
2. Shambhala Peace Warrior Project is a mindfulness meditation train the trainer program that is offered to activists, educators and non-profit organizations. We are currently raising money with Alternative Schools Network to offer the program in multiple schools.
3. Haji Healing Salon is the first of its kind on the south side of Chicago. The Salon offers yoga, meditation, acupuncture, reiki and other healing services for an afordable price. The salon tries to make these offering accesible for POC on the south side that may not otherwise have access to these tools. We are currently raising funds to buy cushions for the salon’s weekly meditation sessions that Spiritual Activism will offer.
